Centri estivi 2026 a Offagna: avventure, misteri e natura nei musei del borgo

Summer 2026 in Offagna, from June to September becomes a journey through history, games and discovery thanks to the new educational and recreational activities organized by the Polo Museale di Offagna. A program designed for children and young people aged 5 to 13, dedicated to summer camps looking for engaging experiences inside the village museums.

Among ancient fortresses, mysterious animals and stories from the Second World War, every activity combines fun and learning in a creative and interactive way.

At the Rocca of Offagna among knights and medieval districts

The Rocca and the Museum of Ancient Weapons host two activities inspired by the medieval history of Offagna.

With “The Challenge of Offagna’s Districts”, participants will discover the four historic districts of the village and the traditional competitions that enliven the famous Medieval Festivals held every July. After the guided tour of the Rocca, children will be divided into teams and, through quizzes and riddles about the fortress’s history, will determine the winning district while also creating its personalized coat of arms.

The adventure continues with “The Knight’s Armor and the Mysterious Phrase”, a treasure hunt through the rooms of the Rocca. Young participants will have to find the hidden pieces of Knight Filippo’s armor, scattered by the mischievous little ghosts of the fortress, in order to reconstruct a mysterious medieval phrase and finally create their own personalized shield.

At the Paolucci Museum among animals and fairy tales

The Luigi Paolucci Museum of Natural Sciences offers activities dedicated to discovering the animal world and imagination.

With “In Search of the Lost Animal”, children will help the Professor reconstruct a mysterious animal whose parts have been scattered throughout the museum rooms. During the activity, they will learn fascinating facts and characteristics about the displayed animals, eventually creating a real identity card for the reconstructed specimen.

In “Fairy Tales at the Museum”, animals become the protagonists of stories rich in valuable lessons. After the visit, participants will work in groups illustrating the stories they heard through drawings and creative activities, encouraging collaboration and imagination.

Wojtek, the soldier bear who wins over children

The Museum of the Liberation of Ancona tells children a truly special story: that of Wojtek, the bear who accompanied Polish soldiers during the Second World War.

Through the guided visit and the story of his incredible adventure, participants will discover an exciting and unique historical episode. The activity concludes with the creation of a small gadget dedicated to the friendly little bear.
